OLD CITY CAVE

An idea appears. It's there before I know what it is. I draw it out ... a sketch, to stop it from vanishing. I then make a graphic print of it , destroying the uniqueness of the piece. It's meaning changes and multiplies. I then cut the print into fragments and create a new image from this familiar chaos. The piece now has its own life, removed, not limited to my imagination and unique again somehow.
